Have you tried "basic" mode

Hi

I fully understand your frustration with the IBM download sites!

But you seem to have found the software now.

Just another hint: If you are "only" using the basic Notes facilities you could consider just running in "Basic" mode. I have been forced to do so because of stability problems with the "Standard" mode (i.e. Eclipse version). And basic mode actually loads and runs pretty fast.

Change the properties of the icon on your desktop that launches Notes. Append " -sa" to the "Target" field. Eg.

From: C:\lotus\notes\notes.exe

To: C:\lotus\notes\notes.exe -sa

Perhaps that will make a better experience for you ;-)
